 Kids' Quilting Classes Available in Tammy's Home Studio
Coconino Community College
Tammy teaches non-credit classes at Coconino Community College in Flagstaff, Arizona.

Art Grants
Tammy participated in the Coconino Arts Integration Grant program and provided quilting instruction for five elementary classes.

2nd grade Constellations Quilt
Students named and designed individual constellations, developed a pattern, used fusible fabric and mini-irons.

4th grade Arizona Symbols Quilt
Students worked in groups to draw and develop patterns for their symbols. They cut out fusible fabric, used mini-irons and sewed sashing to their blocks.

2nd grade Night Sky Quilt
Students designed individual scenes, cut fusible fabric and used mini-irons.

2nd grade Sea Creatures Wall Hangings
Students drew pre-art, participated in hand painting and then selected craft supplies to simulate sea life.  They hand stitched around the edges of their project.

  Workshop in the Philippines
Tammy taught quilting in the Philippines in 2002. The Filipinos had excellent sewing skills and enjoyed learning something new.
